Semanas atrás, conversando com meus amigos do site Multiverso DC, lembrei os clássicos super-heróis da Hanna-Barbera: Space Ghost, Homem-Pássaro, Mightor, os Herculóides, Galaxy Trio, entre tantos outros.

Weeks ago, talking to my friends of Multiverso DC website crew, I remembered the classic superheroes of Hanna-Barbera: Space Ghost, Birdman, Mightor, The Herculoids, Galaxy Trio, and many others.

Coloca-los interagindo nunca ocorreu nos desenhos dos anos 1960/1970 (que no começo dos 1980 eu assistia). Porém, um universo conjunto foi explorado pelos produtores quando alguns dos personagens tiveram  séries de humor no Adult Swim, como Space Ghost – Costa à Costa e Harvey (Homem-Pássaro) Advogado.

Put them interacting at same universe never occurred in the TV cartoon shows from years 1960/1970 (which at the beginning of 1980 I saw on TV). However, a whole universe was explored by producers when some of the characters had a series of humor in Adult Swim, like Space Ghost - Coast to Coast and Harvey Birdman.

Liga da Justiça + humor= a inesquecível fase escrita por J.M. DeMatteis, Keith Giffen e ilustrada de forma única por Kevin Maguire (que eu tive o prazer de conhecer pessoalmente em minha ida à New York Comic Con de 2011). Na clássica capa da #1, Maguire mostrou os personagens da equipe sendo vistos por cima, e todos personagens olhando para o leitor, de forma irônica. Foi então que resolvi fazer uma dupla homenagem: à esta capa e aos clássicos super-heróis da Hanna-Barbera.
E aqui está a minha Liga da Justiça das manhãs de sábado :)

Justice League + humor = the unforgettable JL run writted by JM DeMatteis, Keith Giffen and illustrated uniquely by Kevin Maguire (I had the pleasure to know personally in my trip to New York ComicCon 2011). In the classic cover of # 1, Maguire showed the characters of the team being seenfrom above, and all characters looking at the reader, in an ironic way. It was then that I decided to do a double homage: to this cover and super-heroes of classic Hanna-Barbera.
